SCS Consulting launched the first Accountability Rating in Italy in 2008. The results were presented in partnership with the most important Italian financial newspaper, Il Sole 24 ore, on 2 December. More than 150 people from companies, consulting firms, SRI outfits, NGOs and others participated in an event to announce the results. This was covered by important media. There are no similar ratings in Italy, so the Accountability Rating was seen as a great innovation. Companies are already interested to know more about the results and methodology to learn how they can improve their accountability in future.
