BP

BP

For the past four years, BP has been a leader in the annual application of the Accountability Rating to the world’s largest companies. Each year, it has commissioned us to benchmark its corporate social responsibility report using our Accountability Rating methodology so it can learn in detail how it fared in the Rating and how its report compares with those from it competitors and peers.

As part of the most recent benchmarking report we produced for BP, we identified its strengths and weaknesses in each domain of the Rating, and put forward good-practice models to consider. Following the report, BP asked us to run a workshop on the findings for its senior managers.

coop

The Co-operative Group

The Co-op Group asked us to benchmark its accountability to help it maintain its CSR leadership position. We used the Accountability Rating methodology to assess its strategy, policies and management systems, and to make comparisons with other leaders in accountability as identified in our annual application of the Accountability Rating to the Fortune Global 100. We also recommended ways The Co-op Group could improve.

hp

HP

We provided HP with a detailed report explaining its score in the Accountability Rating and making recommendations for improved accountability that could be put into action across its operations.

The report compared HP with other top companies in the Fortune Global 100 and other computer and electronics businesses. We also highlighted best practice examples from other companies to give HP a picture of what a truly accountable business would look like. The benchmarking exercise highlighted useful opportunities for HP to improve its accountability and its sustainability reporting.
